Young movers explore their creativity through daily dance classes, imaginative activities, and fun choreography, culminating in an informal performance for family and friends. A healthy snack is served each day to keep their imagination fueled!

Camp is held at the Mitchell Activity Center (Seattle Central College) located at 1718 Broadway, Seattle, WA 98122.

Sample Daily Schedule

1. 12:00pm-12:15pm: Welcome & Warm-Up Games
2. 12:15pm-1:00pm: Dance Technique Class
3. 1:00pm-1:30pm: Storytime
4. 1:30pm-1:45pm: Snack Break
5. 1:45pm-2:15pm: Arts & Crafts
6. 2:15pm-2:50pm: Choreography & Creative Movement Activities
7. 2:50pm: Reflection Circle & Pick-Up

Meet Your Teacher: Ms. Lucy!

Lucy Chinowsky is from Seattle, Washington. She began her dance training at Evergreen City Ballet (ECB), and trained there for 11 years. Through her time there, she performed in productions of The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Hansel and Gretel, and Paquita. Upon graduating from ECB, Lucy went on to a traineeship at Avant Chamber Ballet in Dallas, Texas, where she currently dances under the direction of Katie Puder. Alongside her dancing, Lucy has worked as a Teacher's Assistant at multiple ECB summer dance camps as well as in their Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet classes during the school year. Lucy is so excited to bring her love of dance and teaching to Khambatta Dance Company's Imagination Dance Camp!
